Originally from Bolton, Lancashire, England Andrew has been on the Atlanta music scene around 30 years regularly performing at hotels, nightclubs, conventions, weddings, theatre shows; just about every kind of gig you could imagine.
In his career he has played and/or recorded with Aretha Franklin, Ben Vereen, Lionel Hampton, Martha Reeves - 'Martha and the Vandellas', Jerry Vale, Jerry Lewis, Bobby Vinton, the Atlanta Pops Orchestra, The Atlanta City Ballet, the Atlanta Opera, the Georgia Philharmonic Orchestra, Tommie Macon and The Gentle Men Of Jazz, Still Swinging Big Band and many other local and national artists.

Andrew has played with one or more ensembles for the city of Atlanta's annual jazz festival almost every year since 1995. He continues to play jazz gigs with 'Tommie Macon and the Gentle Men of Jazz', as well as leading his own groups playing his original jazz compositions.

Norman Forest Recording
Andrew's alter ego 'Norman Forest' produces, engineers and mixes many recordings for (mostly) local artists. 'Norman Forest Studio' is designed to be a creative space where Andrew (and/or Norman) can help musical artists realize their visions. A couple of examples of their work are listed below.

Great grooves and clever lyrics teach kids all about organic vegetable gardening. A seamless journey through several genres including Latin, Funk and Swing Jazz. Safe to play on that long road trip - moms and dads love it too! Andrew was proud to be involved in playing, producing, and arranging on this project.

TKP Entertainment provides entertainment events for mature adults. The goal is to get adults up dancing and socializing and not feeling self conscious about it. Producing entertainment events that brings back memories, makes you want to tap your feet and feel those feelings you had when you first heard that music.

MORE ABOUT ANDREW
Andrew played with the 'Atlanta Pops Orchestra' for many years and was featured soloist playing Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue', which he also performed with the 'Georgia Philharmonic'.
Andrew also loves to play musical theatre shows and has played many touring broadway shows in the pit orchestra at Atlanta's famous 'Fox Theatre' - including 'Wicked', 'West Side Story', 'Mama-Mia' and many others. He also starred on stage at the 'Earl Strand Theatre' in Marietta, playing piano in Atlanta Lyric Theatre's production of 'Ain't Misbehavin'. Andrew has also been piano/conductor/orchestra contractor for many ambitious high school theatre shows at 'Atlanta International School'.
In addition, Andrew has been playing piano and organ at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Stone Mountain since 1994. He accompanies cantors and choirs and conducts the bell choir.
Now, Andrew continues to perform, compose, arrange, and record jazz, classical, pop, and all kinds of music throughout the city; he accompanies vocalists and church choirs playing everything from Bach and Mozart to Frank Sinatra to Richard Smallwood; and plays with professional ensembles of all sizes and styles from solo piano and jazz trio to big band and symphony orchestra.
He is happily married (for over 30 years) to Diane Ross and enjoys cycling, hiking, good wine and single malt scotch.
